On our first full day in Rome, we took a tour of sites of Rome with Marco Bigi. Among the locations we visited were:

Il Vittoriano national monument built to honor unification of Italy and Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Capitoline Hill and Roman Forum, Trajan's column, the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine. the Jewish Ghetto area. After lunch, we stopped at the roman "keyhole" and then drove to Colle del Gianicolo which offered a great overlook of ancient Rome.

After our tour was over, we took a long walk to Via del Corso to do some shopping and then back to the hotel. We had a great dinner at Cotto, then I headed back out to the forum area to take some pictures at night. A very busy day.
